Our choice to celebrate life

Make it a practice to observe your thought patterns during the day. What are the kind of thoughts that preoccupy your mind? Are the thought patterns related to past, present or future? Are they related to relationships, finances, health etc. Are the thoughts related to growth, stagnation or loss? Do the thoughts make you feel peaceful, happy, angry, guilty or unhappy?

If your thoughts are related to past regrets or losses then you will imprison yourself in what you have already experienced. This will thwart you from moving forward. If you are preoccupied by thoughts related to future expectations, then you are binding yourself with anxiety of  what is yet to happen. You will fail to appreciate what your are and what you have in hand.If your thought patterns are connected to current insecurities and disabilities then you lose sight of your current resources and abilities.

Your thoughts have energy. The thoughts you have, will influence your state of being. This in turn will influence your actions, which will give form to your invisible thoughts and bring it to your experience. Negative thought patterns of anger, sadness, jealousy, hatred, despair have low energy frequency. They slow down your physical being and lead you towards further failure.  Positive thoughts of love, happiness, enthusiasm, kindness have high energy frequency.  They boost your mental being and help you to succeed.

In order to invite positive experiences, it is important to have positive thought pattern. Change your negative thought patterns of regret, anger, sorrow into positive thoughts of acceptance, love and happiness. Substitute your low energy frequency thoughts of self- deprecation and mistrust into high energy frequency thoughts of growth and confidence.

By observing your thought patterns and changing them into happy and peaceful thoughts, you will soon find yourself as a positive and peaceful being.

It is human to fluctate between high energy frequency and low energy frequency thought patterns. But it is your mind's preoccupation with positive healthy thoughts, that will keep you grounded as a spiritual being. We are here to celebrate life in our human form as spiritual beings.

Happiness, Peace and Love

If you seek happiness, then first limit your desires. Have an attitude of gratitude towards the universe, to provide you, what you already have. And then you will have reasons to rejoice and be happy
If you seek peace, then first resolve the conflicts in your mind. It is not the situation that gives rise to conflicts. The true conflict is in your mind due to your perceptions, doubts and expectations. Make peace by letting go of your expectations, accepting and trusting the situation, appreciating the good that every situation has. Only then you will be able to go with the flow and be at peace.
If you seek love, then first learn to love and that includes loving yourself. Loving each one for who they are with appreciation and loyalty. Only when you will be able to love unconditionally, only then you will be in a state of love.‎

A wonderful life because of wonderful people.

As a child, my parents gave me the message that I am living in a safe world full of wonderful people. My parents were good people. I saw them treat people with respect and equal regard. I learnt the importance of charity towards people and animals. My parents always made me believe in being a good human. My sisters were further living examples of good people.
As a teen, due to peer influence, my beliefs were challenged. Fortunately, I chose the path set by my family. Partly because I enjoyed being a good human and also because I experienced meeting more good people than the bad ones. The bad ones are those who manipulated me, hurt me with words and actions and showed disrespect. I did not like that kind of behaviour and did not want to be influenced by it. I rather influence them with the messages I gained from my family.
In my life so far I have experienced that in strange situations I have met strange good people. My life has been enriched by them. They have added value to my life by helping me to create fond memories. They have made every celebration more special by bringing more laughter and cheer.
I managed to get attracted by another pure soul, my husband. When I entered his world I met people who loved and accepted me selflessly and also someone who seemed to threaten me due to a set of certain unrealistic and unreasonable believes. But that did stop me from being kind. "Kill people's ill intentions with your kindness" was the advice of my best friend.
When I look at my life today, I see us surrounded by good people. They are our family, our friends, neighbours, colleagues, book authors and also random people many a times. They are faces of God. They are real angels, who I believed as a child, existed only in fairy tales.
I experience goodness and continue to be amazed by these good experiences. I just hope I am such an experience to others too.
It's a wonderful life because of these beautiful hearted people. I truly believe "Be good. Spread goodness and receive goodness". Make this world a better world.

My honour of being a Parent.

Why do we limit the happiness of our children by stressing on our definition of success?
Controlling their freedom and curbing their creative expressions.
Why can't we just nurture them with unconditional love and non-judgemental acceptance?
Our presence in their life is to provide them with the kind of experience that will give them an
opportunity to explore their potentials.
Even if it is at the risk of seeing them learn from their mistakes.
Let them bloom in the way they aspire to live the purpose they choose to live.
Not to force them into the drudgery of following the path set by us.
Next time see in your child's eyes, his or her dream and not yours.
Only then will you hear the music that resonates from their heart.
My prayer to the universe that has gifted me a child and given me the honour of being a parent,
to grant me the strength, patience and wisdom to play my role towards this boon of universe.

Our visibility in this Universe.

Today while meditating, I got a glimpse of the Universe. I tried to locate myself but I was really tiny – to the extent of being microscopic as compared to this vast Universe. Then I tried to find my problems but it was so small to a point of almost being invisible. I realized, my problems don’t even exits in the scheme of the universe. What exist is my body and that to, for a purpose. I exist in this form not to solve my problems but to solve the problems of the Universe related to every species that is breathing life. The universe has created us and given us life. By leading a good life, we give life to the Universe.

Everyday live with the purpose to make others life better. What is the use of getting worked up on a report that is due for submission or ailing about an illness or feeling guilty about something you shouldn’t have said or resenting someone who hurt you. These are issues which you call problems and will only gnaw the life out of you. Instead, work on that report with the time and effort you can put in. Take care of your body by adopting a healthy lifestyle and gathering all the support you can through medical help. Work on the relationship by either staying in it, with positive communication or putting a closure to a faulty one. MOVE ON. LET GO. Because you exist for love and joy. Learn to respond to every situation with love and kindness instead of reacting with your inner insecurities. You will then realize that every situation is presented as an opportunity for you rather than crisis.

Each of us feel we are the most important creation. And TRUE, we are important based on what we leave behind when we cease to exist. People who have made a difference to this world were a part of this universe when they were breathing life and continue to do so even when they ceased to exist in their physical form. But we do not need to aim to live a life like Gautama Buddha, William Shakespeare, Mozart, Abraham Lincoln, Marie Curie, Mahatma Gandhi, Helen Keller or Mother Teresa to make a difference to live eternally. We can make a difference as a parent, a sister or brother, a friend or a neighbor. When you extend yourself to those around you in form of a good thought, a kind deed or a gentle word, you have made yourself more visible. You are not limited to the space you occupy in your physical form. You are the energy and the influence you spread by making a positive difference to this world.

Next time you are overwhelmed by your problems, just remember to ask yourself this question. Are your problems visible in the universe or rather does it matter to live with joy and love and to spread the same to your family, friends and community? Because that is what will be visible even after you are long gone. I conclude this blog with this powerful message by my Inspirational Guru Robin Sharma.

Do something nice for 3 people each day consistently.

In 12 months you've inspired 1000+ people.

THAT'S impact!

Living each day to your fullest

Begin each day with few minutes for yourself meditating with an attitude of gratitude that you have been gifted with one more day to live. Visualise yourself doing what you would like to do for the day. Visualise having experiences that will do good for yourself and those around you through what you think, act and speak. Eat healthy, exercise and drink lot of water to maintain a healthy body. Think positive thoughts for yourself and others. Act with kindness and speak well of others and to others. Spend time doing what you like to do with the people you love. Find time to read and listen to music. Learn something new everyday by  living  in the moment.
When you come to the end of the day, meditate again with a attitude of gratitude knowing that all the experiences you had for the day was for your good, acknowledge any new learning and let go of what you had the desire for but did not experience. Feel the deep sense of gratitude to  your creator for giving you the peace and happiness as you close your eyes to another day.

2 important life’s lesson learnt in 2012

Lesson no 1: I’d always pray for long life for everyone one.

In 2013, I pray that it is okay to have a short life as long as it is healthy and happy

Lesson no 2: I could go to any extent to save people’s marriages. I had always believed that “Marriage is made in Heaven and ends with Death”.
In 2013, I’d rather advice that if your marriage isn’t working then probably you are with the wrong person, who does not appreciate your true value. Hence, Move On. You have one life to live and lead it with a person who appreciates and accepts you the way you are.

I conclude this post with an Attitude of Gratitude to the Universe for blessing us with a healthy and happy life and for making our marital paths meet with the right person for everlasting bliss.

Looking forward to 2013 for more of personal growth by unlearning false beliefs and learning the new.
