Body, Mind or Earth Energy.

A basic question....what are we? A body of different shape, size & color? Or a mind of identities & desires? Or are we merely 70% water & rest of natural elements of earth? No, we are not a body because it keeps changing over time nor are we the mind which changes in different situations. We are then just piece of earth mixed with water that breathes & beats for a limited time.

However, we have gone beyond a living mass of earth as we have evolved into the most advanced form of brain. Our ability to create has made us challenge our creator. Do you realise that, we are but temporary living earth mass & we will go back to being plain earth the day we stop breathing & our hearts stops beating?

Unfortunately, we are in a state of amnesia. We are fighting over our creator in the name of religion & territories, when the fact is there is only one creator - the nature & one planet without boundaries. What are these conflicts about?

We earthlings prioritise money over everything, when money is just as temporary in our lives as we are on this planet. Money is like water in constant flow & so are we. We are here but gone tomorrow to probably come back in another form of earth because energy cannot be destroyed.

Love is the answer to what brought us into existence. Love is the answer to what bonds us. Love - preached in all religion but implemented by none today, as religion only differentiates but does not unite.

The day we wake up from our amnesia to remember the most fundamental fact, that day onwards we will be able to live a more meaningful life to see each other as ONE made of the same earth coming from the same source of energy connected by love.

Being the source of happiness

Have you experienced happiness? Happiness, I believe is the bliss that multiplies by sharing with others. Then why do some people create unhappiness for others? According to me, it's probably because they come from circumstances deprived of happiness. They come from scarcity that creates insecurity. They just lack the ability to create happy moments for themselves and others. They suck you into thier negative energy.

"Kill with kindness",one of the most important lesson I learnt from my best friend. Let your loving kindness penetrate thier selfish ego till they experience happiness. Neutralise thier negative energy with your positivity. Forgive them for creating the unhappy experience because on the positive side, that experience only helped you to be a stronger person. Seeing someone happy is the most enriching experience in life. You will be content to leave a happier world behind after you are gone. Let's make this "a better world".https://www.causes.com/ABetterWorld

Mysticism

Mystics are people who have understood the real meaning of life. They live in the now, mindfully. They are free from any pain from the past and also from the anxiety of the future.  They are only connected to the now.  They live without regrets nor any worries.  They are like children who are always in a  happy state of mind because they are living in the moment. So, they are creative and intuitive.

They are spiritual  because they are connected to the spirit that keeps us connected as a part of this universe. They live with an awakened mind based on experiences they have gained. But they are not bound by ego due the experience.  Infact thier experiences have enriched them to free themselves from the Ego bondage and gifted them with knowledge that they want to share to contribute to the universal spirit. They are above everything.  Above fear, anger, sorrow and pleasure.

They are aware that thier body is a form given to serve thier purpose in life. They dont live with any attachment to thier body and hence can travel time and space. Thier presence energises us, because  they breathe life as only a mystic knows the true meaning and art of living.

Similarity between the conception of life and death

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

This lovely parable is from "Your Sacred Self" by Dr. Wayne Dyer

What you Believe, is your Reality

Have you ever been terrorized by a thought that has set you on a worrying spree?  A powerful negative thought that set you to lead a lifestyle to avoid bringing the thought into reality. A thought that controls your life and made you dysfunctional in your relationship with yourself and others. Your pre-occupation with the thought becomes so real that you end up living with it to say, “My worst nightmare has come true” or “I am living what I dreaded the most”. It could be a fear of losing loved one, divorce, a cheating spouse, children getting into bad company or some terminal illness such as cancer.

Let’s take the example of having the fear of cancer affecting you or your loved one. It is a thought that is like the thought of a monster a child fears will come for him someday. How does the child know that the monster exists? – through books and stories he has heard. The child believes that the monster is real and lives with the anxiety of facing the monster when he is alone in the room. The thought that controls us is similar to the thought of the monster the child holds in his mind. How do we know cancer exists? – Through experiences someone had or an articles we have read. Has the child ever seen the monster? – Maybe through images on books or videos. Have you ever experienced cancer? – Maybe through a family member or friend in the past. But right now it exists in your memories of the past just as it exists for the child in his mind from what he has seen or read in in books or videos.

If the child believes in the monster and someday it is going to get him. Then, he will continue to live in worry. Similarly, if you believe that there is cancer and someday it will affect you or your loved one, you will be living your life dreading it, worrying about it.

But what is the real fear about? Is it about cancer or is it about “Death”. But then how can we fear death, when death is the only guarantee we have in life. We know that our body is not eternal and that death will free our body from the eternal soul. Everything else in life is unpredictable – who is our life partner? How many children or grandchildren we may have? How long will we live? But yes, we all will die is a reassurance life gives us. The other reassurance we have is that we are breathing in this moment and till the end of living in this body. So breathe believing in what you have. If the child believes there is no monster, the thought of its existences will cease. The fear will leave his mind. He will experience the freedom to explore his living space. Similarly, there may have been people affected by the disease. But it’s the story of someone else’s past that we allow ourselves to be affected by. It does not exist in our reality. What exists in our reality is our good health. Make the best of the fact that you are breathing, your heart is beating and you can use your body to bring better health by exercise and meditation.

The fact that we are breathing is for us to know that we are just a small drop of this marvelous nature. Our heart beats to the rhythm of nature, to remind us about our purpose and contribution to the nature. You are here not for yourself but for the world you belong to, the world that made you who you are. You owe to this world a commitment to make a difference to it. Make a positive difference for others to continue it after you have made your exit. We all have that gift to give back because we all have to inevitably play the role as a parent, sibling, professional or community member irrespective of the money, education or influence we have. We all have a ROLE to play.

Even if you or someone you knew, had the dreadful disease, or another painful life situation such as a divorce. There are have been survivors. People surviving terminal illnesses or painful separations. The reason they survived was because they had not fulfilled their purpose for living.Unless we play our role, we cannot exit. The unfortunate situations exists for us to play the role better and different from others.

Like the child who abandons thoughts of the monster, abandon the thoughts that terrorize you. Out there is what is in here. So start from yourself. Let kindness, trust, love and compassion flow out of you and that is what will flow back to you. You are the creator of your own experiences. What you experience, creates your belief and what you believe, is your reality.

Moving with the flow of life - Living in the "Present"

I see myself surrounded by people living a life of chaos and rigidity. That includes me. I find myself in the chaos of catching up with time, managing my energy in the various role I play as a mother, aunt, wife, sister, daughter, counselor, citizen etc. And sometimes I feel stuck when I have rigid beliefs of what I "should" and "must" do.
There are also times when I let go and flow with life. That is when I find myself at peace and happy.
We fall prey to chaos when we are focused on the future and are gripped by the insecurity of losing our possessions. In our journey of life we have a backpack and we have stuffed too many things. We find it difficult to say "no". We have taken umlimited roles, numerous task without realising that we have a limited mile to travel within our given time. Thoughts such as "Oh , I have lots of things to do but so little time" is a common thought that puts us in chaos. We trudge our way through, sometimes hoping the journey could end soon.
We hit against the wall of rigidity by building our own blocks of beliefs of what we should do based on our past experienes with people and situations. We have made our backpacks heavy by taking others expectations, others opinion. Its more like we have taken thier share of stuff and in the meantime made our backpacks heavy. "I have to please them to be accepted by them" is a common belief of rigidity. We block the progress of our own journey, hitting against the wall everytime we try to go ahead.
However, we are moving with the flow of life by living in the present. Here my backpack has nothing because I give what I get. I value this moment I have because soon it will be gone. This moment is a gift so I will make the best of it by thinking positive. Doing something good because what I do casts a shadow that will follow me. "So I might as well do something good rather than bad". I will accept the challenges beliving that I face them because they have something good for me eventually. " Everything happens, happens for good". I flow ahead with love, trust, faith and kindness. And as I flow, I hope to make this path smooth for my beloved others to follow.

3 qualities of Successful people.

1) Focus - Successful people focus on a goal and are determined to achieve it. They dont quit till they reach their destination.
2) Risk taking - They take risk with the expectation of success. Even if they are not able to achieve the goal, they see themselves as successfully attempting it and figuring out what they should avoid. They then continue on their determination to try something new in pursuit of the desired goal.
3) "No idling away time" motto - Everyday there is a new project. Every hour of their day is utilised in a productive pursuit.  The quality of time spent will spell the quality of goal achieved.
What is your goal? Challenge yourself to achieve it by adopting these 3 qualities. It's not difficult. Because we already are successful where we are. If you are overweight then you are so because unconsciously you have focused on gaining weight. You have taken the risk of eating unhealthy fattening food. You have always utilised your time in leading unhealthy lifestyle. And you dont seem to quit this pattern of life.
It's time to reverse it. It's that simple. So make a vision board of how you looked or want to look, to remind yourself of your focus. Take the risk of eating low-fat healthy food. Do not idle time, rather hit the gym or go for a walk or join a yoga classes. And see yourself redefining success.
Be successful by identifying your true purpose in life. Be of service to your country, your fellow humans, to other species who share this planet, the universe. Be successful as a parent, partner, practioner...................start writing new chapters of your success stories.
