Your journey inwards with the ticket called GRATITUDE


Human race is probably cursed to value things only when they don't have it. When we have something, we don't value it till we lose it. We tend to not value what we receive in life because we demand out of life what others have. 

If we will look for something in the wrong place, of course there is not chance we will find it. We unfortunately keep seeking things we desire outside us, example seeking happiness outside us when it is an experience within us. In the end we don't learn anything from life. We only end up spending our life seeking outward gratification, pursuing experiences not meant to be in our path.

Life is not an outward journey, it is a journey inwards. The experiences that we have, we carry it till the end of life and take it forward beyond life, that is into death. Death is then a new journey not to be dreaded but something to look forward to.

Freeing yourself from all attachments is what prepares you for this new journey ahead. It is the path on which you will tread alone with the messages you have received in your lifetime. We are attached to our body when you are not even living in the same body you came into this world. We are attached to our thoughts and emotions experienced by the mind, when the mind experiences numerous transformation from morning to evening of the same day. The  same is with relationships,  identities, material possession which all form our EGO.

If only we could flow through life detached as observers, staying in full awareness and in gratitude of the experiences we receive through life. Life will then be a beautiful journey. Detachments and awareness maybe a long call for most of us living in this digitally addictive world. Waking up with sense of gratitude and ending our day thanking and valuing what we have is something we can and is worth practicing to start with. 

You will then find yourself receiving more than you asked for from this lifetime and to leave behind what you cannot take on the other side of this journey other than your growth as a spiritual being.

Dealing with rotten apples

"One rotten apple can spoil the whole basket". Rotten apples are like the negative people in our lives. They are the ones who leave us feeling low because they complain, whine and criticize. They can be toxic to us and are our "Energy vampires". 


Unfortunately, they are people who are close to us and our important to us, because they can be in form of our parent, sibling, partner, in-law, child, friend or a colleague.

The difference between positive and negative person is that while a positive person will see the glass half full, a negative person will only see the empty portion of the glass. It is struggle to stay positive around negative people - the feeling of mental fatigue in their presence. The conflict between the impulse to avoid them and guilt that you are not helping them is emotionally draining.

Here are three tips to help in dealing with negative people:
1) Drop your judgements: A positive person operates from a place of hope, appreciation and awareness of the present. There is an innate tendency to be judgmental about people different from us. Fact is people only know what they focus in their experience. Your judgement about a person as lazy, loser, stubborn, whiner etc. will only affect you. We need to understand that a negative person comes from a place of "lack". Lack of experience, gratitude and possibilities The bottom line is, the person is thinking differently from you. Why judge?

2) Listen without reacting: When you hear someone complaining or whining, if you have the energy to hear the person out, then do so. The person is only venting out the frustration & hopelessness experienced by him or her. You dont need to identify with their experience nor believe in their predictions of future mishaps. Identify the person's concerns which is seen as a global concern (as per the person). The problems people see arises from their limited experience. Just hear the words out.

3) Identify opportunities instead of obstacles: Now that you have managed to identify "his/her" problem, try to understand if the person wants a solution or is comfortable in sinking into his/her problem-finding mindset. 
While positive people are pro in seeing greener pastures in any situation because of their ability to feel grateful for what they have rather than not have. In contrast, negative people are just the opposite. Help the person who only sees problems, recognize what is in it for him/her in every situation and help the person to identify the strengths in the present moment. There will always be one. If you are blessed with a life, then YOU are all that is needed to do something about it. A mind shift from "I can't" to "I can" is all that is required.

"One individual who lives and vibrates to the energy of optimism and willingness to be non-judgemental of others will counterbalance the negativity of 90,000 individuals who calibrate at the lower weakening level." (Dr Wayne Dyer, Power of intention 2010) . This was based on a research by Dr Hawking. We are after all not apples but human beings. Just as one person's negativity is capable of pulling down others energy, so is true that one positive person has more influence on people around him.

The final point to remember in dealing with people who are negative, is to remember that our responsibility is to vibrate at high energy by living with optimism and attitude of gratitude. Don't be quick to guide unless they seek it. Otherwise, you will end up being misguided. You are the float who can help others by staying positive. Infect people with your positivity & let your positive energy be contagious.

Thought Detox

Detox is a commonly used word and practiced nowadays. Detox is getting rid of the toxins. 
Generally, the term "Detox" is something related to body in sense of, eating or abstaining from certain type of food that cleanses the body or removes harmful substances from the body.
Similarly,  "Thought Detox"    would mean getting rid of the toxins in the mind or cleansing the mind.
Our body & mind are not two independent part of us but our connected. Our state of mind influences our body & our state of body influences our mind. If our body is experiencing illness it invariably affects our mind. In the same way, when we are stressed it affects the energy level of our body.
Hence, while we Detox our body, we also need to detox our mind.
How do we Detox our mind? Here are some steps you can follow:
1) First hour of the day, just observe silence. If you are used to noise and  find silence disturbing then listen to soft calming music as you slowly introduce 5 minutes silence & gradually increase the length of time.
2) Second hour of the day, communicate only when required. Avoid instructions, unnecessary comments & definitely gossips.
3) If a situation calls for your response then abstain from reacting. "Silence" is the best response in such a situation.
4) Your mind just like your body will need to be fed.
So feed positive thoughts. What are positive thought? Thoughts that are optimistic, a gratitude or an appreciation are positive thoughts
5) Sometimes its difficult to control the quality of thoughts. Hence, a daily discipline practice of meditation of mindfulness exercise is required. Meditation helps one to centre thoughts & bring oneself in what I call a "no thought" zone. You would need an anchor initially to bring yourself to a "no thought" zone. An anchor would be observing your breath or listening to heartbeat or repeating a chant. Practice meditation during the first hour of the morning & last 20 minutes before retiring to bed.
6) In your silent state of mind, keep a smile over your positive thoughts. This smile will automatically reflect on your face and
change the aura of your entire energy system.
7) Be a silent observer of thoughts without emotionally reacting to it. Similarly,be silent observer of your physical space without exercising your need to control the situation.
Here are some  benefits of detoxifying the mind.
1) A detox mind will ensure a stress free mind and body. Stress first hits the mind before hitting your body.
2) A stress free mind will ensure improved health.
3) You will start noticing a constant calmness in your demeanor. This calming presence if strong & contained will influence the space around you & the people around you. And hence you become a source of influencing the energy level of space & form (people) around you.
4) Its helps to reduce the control drama with your environment by granting you greater control over your mind.
5) Silence will raise your level of awareness. Awareness will improve your state of conscious living.
The biggest insight you will gain from "Thought Detox" is that, what happens outside you is only a reflection of what is going on in your mind. Also, what happens outside you is an opportunity for you to work on what is happening inside you. For example, your child's behaviour may annoy you. Actually it's your expectation about your child that is annoying you. So fix your expectations by accepting your child's behaviour. The shift in your internal state will change  your perception of external situation.
When you will operate from level of acceptance, your focus will be directed towards addressing your child's behaviour rather than indirectly addressing your emotional distress about your child's behaviour. This situation offers you to be an accepting parent rather than a controlling one. 
Ultimately the real conflicts in life is what happens within rather than outside you. The more toxic your thoughts are the more conflicts you will experience in your life. 
To lead a peaceful life, embrace "Thought Detox" as a part of your daily practice.

Body, Mind or Earth Energy.

A basic question....what are we? A body of different shape, size & color? Or a mind of identities & desires? Or are we merely 70% water & rest of natural elements of earth? No, we are not a body because it keeps changing over time nor are we the mind which changes in different situations. We are then just piece of earth mixed with water that breathes & beats for a limited time.

However, we have gone beyond a living mass of earth as we have evolved into the most advanced form of brain. Our ability to create has made us challenge our creator. Do you realise that, we are but temporary living earth mass & we will go back to being plain earth the day we stop breathing & our hearts stops beating?

Unfortunately, we are in a state of amnesia. We are fighting over our creator in the name of religion & territories, when the fact is there is only one creator - the nature & one planet without boundaries. What are these conflicts about?

We earthlings prioritise money over everything, when money is just as temporary in our lives as we are on this planet. Money is like water in constant flow & so are we. We are here but gone tomorrow to probably come back in another form of earth because energy cannot be destroyed.

Love is the answer to what brought us into existence. Love is the answer to what bonds us. Love - preached in all religion but implemented by none today, as religion only differentiates but does not unite.

The day we wake up from our amnesia to remember the most fundamental fact, that day onwards we will be able to live a more meaningful life to see each other as ONE made of the same earth coming from the same source of energy connected by love.

Being the source of happiness

Have you experienced happiness? Happiness, I believe is the bliss that multiplies by sharing with others. Then why do some people create unhappiness for others? According to me, it's probably because they come from circumstances deprived of happiness. They come from scarcity that creates insecurity. They just lack the ability to create happy moments for themselves and others. They suck you into thier negative energy.

 "Kill with kindness",one of the most important lesson I learnt from my best friend. Let your loving kindness penetrate thier selfish ego till they experience happiness. Neutralise thier negative energy with your positivity. Forgive them for creating the unhappy experience because on the positive side, that experience only helped you to be a stronger person. Seeing someone happy is the most enriching experience in life. You will be content to leave a happier world behind after you are gone. Mysticism

Mystics are people who have understood the real meaning of life. They live in the now,mindfully. They are free from any pain from the past and also from the anxiety of the future.  They are only connected to the now.  They live without regrets nor any worries.  They are like children who are always in a  happy state of mind because they are living in the moment. So, they are creative and intuitive.

They are spiritual  because they are connected to the spirit that keeps us connected as a part of this universe. They live with an awakened mind based on experiences they have gained. But they are not bound by ego due the experience.  Infact thier experiences have enriched them to free themselves from the Ego bondage and gifted them with knowledge that they want to share to contribute to the universal spirit. They are above everything.  Above fear, anger, sorrow and pleasure.

They are aware that thier body is a form given to serve thier purpose in life. They dont live with any attachment to thier body and hence can travel time and space. Thier presence energises us, because  they breathe life as only a mystic knows the true meaning and art of living.
