Our visibility in this Universe.

Today while meditating, I got a glimpse of the Universe. I tried to locate myself but I was really tiny – to the extent of being microscopic as compared to this vast Universe. Then I tried to find my problems but it was so small to a point of almost being invisible. I realized, my problems don’t even exits in the scheme of the universe. What exist is my body and that to, for a purpose. I exist in this form not to solve my problems but to solve the problems of the Universe related to every species that is breathing life. The universe has created us and given us life. By leading a good life, we give life to the Universe.

Everyday live with the purpose to make others life better. What is the use of getting worked up on a report that is due for submission or ailing about an illness or feeling guilty about something you shouldn’t have said or resenting someone who hurt you. These are issues which you call problems and will only gnaw the life out of you. Instead, work on that report with the time and effort you can put in. Take care of your body by adopting a healthy lifestyle and gathering all the support you can through medical help. Work on the relationship by either staying in it, with positive communication or putting a closure to a faulty one. MOVE ON. LET GO. Because you exist for love and joy. Learn to respond to every situation with love and kindness instead of reacting with your inner insecurities. You will then realize that every situation is presented as an opportunity for you rather than crisis.

Each of us feel we are the most important creation. And TRUE, we are important based on what we leave behind when we cease to exist. People who have made a difference to this world were a part of this universe when they were breathing life and continue to do so even when they ceased to exist in their physical form. But we do not need to aim to live a life like Gautama Buddha, William Shakespeare, Mozart, Abraham Lincoln, Marie Curie, Mahatma Gandhi, Helen Keller or Mother Teresa to make a difference to live eternally. We can make a difference as a parent, a sister or brother, a friend or a neighbor. When you extend yourself to those around you in form of a good thought, a kind deed or a gentle word, you have made yourself more visible. You are not limited to the space you occupy in your physical form. You are the energy and the influence you spread by making a positive difference to this world.

Next time you are overwhelmed by your problems, just remember to ask yourself this question. Are your problems visible in the universe or rather does it matter to live with joy and love and to spread the same to your family, friends and community? Because that is what will be visible even after you are long gone. I conclude this blog with this powerful message by my Inspirational Guru Robin Sharma.
